Twitter Is Everything

Hey there all.

Okay, I'm in a bit of a zone today, so I thought I would quickly touch on a couple things real quick.

Those of you who have been following me for a bit know that I was studying audio production at Full Sail for close to a year. I can honestly say looking back that it was okay, but a huge waste of time. I've honestly enjoying pumping out these blogs and connecting with all of you about many things.

What I'm saying here is that words have an amazing level of power that is often overlooked. They power the lyrical portion of the music that we love. They power conversations and all levels of communication. That's huge when you stop and think about it.

How much we consume in written words in this age of media is staggering. They power all our apps, phone calls, text messages, and all forms of social media.

So when we see something that makes us feel certain ways, that's extremely powerful. Negative words really affect us on an emotional level that we don't think about. It's an instant reaction. I'd liken it to getting bad news. Positive words have the exact opposite effect. Trying to master how to spell those two words was an exercise in sound judgement lol.

So, as you see, most words don't inspire feelings of indifference. Most generally it's black or white, with a very rare grey area.

Here's the whole thing. Words even power our mental health. Things that people say inspire one of two things. Positivity or negativity. Those are also the two emotions that power your mental health.

When I was so sick mentally, I had taken all those negative words that people used and allowed them to become me. I was the walking face of negativity. It wasn't until much later that I realized it was time to turn those proverbial tables and use those negative words and turn them into something positive.

That's why the love and genuine kindness that I feel for people now is deemed so genuine. I want people to not have to go through the same things I did. So if I can be a voice of positivity for people, that's what I want to be.

(Sidenote: Gang Starr has a song called Positivity. That's too cool!!!!)

I just want to take this opportunity to tell all that read this post that if there is anything I can do to help any of you, I'm so there. You guys really have brought positivity into my life.

And everyday, you guys are a blessing and a gift.

Much love.

1.
